About Us

Starting from a garage in Chemainus in 1996, and then moving to a rented building on Mearns Road in Duncan, owner David Saari realized that his passion for his favourite hobby was evolving into a professional concern, with Ken Ahlstrom leading the way in custom motorcycle design and implementation. Soon they would eclipse their rented space, and the search was on for a new spot. In 1998, David followed his vision of a shop devoted to his ideals of Motorcycle Sales and Service, and his award winning building was constructed by local talent, creating a showpiece for his community, and a wonderful place for staff and customers alike to share in the passion of riding.

The building site in Duncan, on the south side of town incorporates some of the original trees, and professional plantings of shrubs and grasses welcome everyone to the shop, with grassy spots to relax under the big fir when a cool down is needed, and lots of parking for bikes and cars.  A large welcoming Totem oversees the courtyard, and our pet gargoyle on top of the building observes things from above.

The building is comprised of 3 pods, one for the showroom, one for service, and another for machining and polishing. Upstairs, horsepower is created in a dedicated engine room, and a service elevator transports bikes to the upper main service area.

Access to our place is available off Allenby Road, or if you are heading north, at the Farmers Market turnoff. See our locator map for further directions. We are open Tuesday to Saturday from 9am to 5pm, but quite often someone is around earlier, so drop by, and you will see why we think we work in the best place in town!

Our People

Ken has been with Arrow since Day 1, building award winning dreams.

 Sharon is also a lifer, starting with no computer system to handle inventory! She is now in a part-time position in retail sales, and has extensive knowledge on clothing and accessories.  Maggie joined the shop in 2002, and looks after bookkeeping,front desk stuff, et cetera.

Eddie has been with us since 2003, and brings his knowledge, patience and quiet perseverance to us for polishing excellence, and assists in all areas mechanical. 

Pig ,our mechanic, rejoins us from stints at Harley shops in Calgary and Victoria. Come in and meet Pig and the others and book your service too!
